Salary Cap
The DBL operates under a $5,000,000 salary cap per team.
- The league year begins at the conclusion of the re-signing period and runs through the end of the playoffs
- Teams must remain salary cap compliant throughout the league year.
- A team’s total payroll may not exceed $5,000,000 at any point during the league year.
- Teams may exceed the salary cap during the offseason, but must return to full compliance prior to the start of the league year.
